Turkish Virtual Airlines (http://www.turkishvirtual.com) that operates on Vatsim has made a cooperation among its pilots and some other virtual pilots in order to start
flight operations on P3D, FSX, X-plane and FS2004 to LTFM at the same time with the real World operations.

• Installation is the classic way for the Fs2004,
• Copy the LTFM_Fs9 folder to your Addon Scenery folder,
• Start your Fs2004,
• Click on Scenery,
• Click on Add Area,
• Find and mark the LTFM_Fs9 folder by browsing your scenery,
• Click OK - OK
• That's it.

''This is the best for now we can do. I also had to reduce the amount of things in the ADE files because I ran in FS9 compiler overloads. I had to split the terminal
objects and buildings into more mdl files and put them into Libraries for placing. The had more polys then the compiler wanted.
So please try the scenery and give constructive feedback. Also You are welcome to finish this thing together. Dominik''

All the best

Thanks a lot for your brilliant scenery of LTFM.

I worked on a scenery of my own, but no buildings, only the usual stuff of ADE9 (runways, taxiways, parkings, aprons, comms and so on).

I found just a few little things you could change if you want:

There is a high voltage power line across the airport.
I excluded it by a SBuilder exclude file.

You have hidden a road by grass rectangles. I found out this road is caused by a maryol_9.bgl of Marmara_LC scenery. I replaced this bgl by a VTPL bgl (SBuilder).

The 45m runways have a different approach lightings than the 60m runways.
I used therefore "ALSF_1" instead of "ALSF_2".

Last a question: Is it possible to create the jetways in a seperate bgl (With ADE or another software?) Perhaps using a fictive overlay airport and modify the resulting XML to delete all besides the Jetways and compile it by XML2BGL?

If you want any of my files, just let me no.

I have an issue with the ltfm scenery regarding disappearing runway/taxiways.
In the air everything looks fine and boy is that a huge airport 8)
But once you begin your approach and descend, the runway starts to run away from you and disappears completely when touching down. There are no visible taxiways either.
Just wanted to let you know and maybe there will be a fix on the next release.
Thanks again for your hard work

After some thinking I am sure the 45m and the 60m runways will never be in service for landing at the same time. So both approach lights will never be on.
I would let the 45m runways without approach lights...

I could find out following procedures for ltfm

RWY Restriction
Unless otherwise instructed by ATC, RWYs 16L/34R and 17R/35L are not AVBL for LDG.
RWY 17L/35R is not AVBL for TKOF.

Hi guys, just a quick note, the team are currently working on the new version of Fs2009. Also, I've passed all the issues to the team you've mentioned here.

Dominik says to me;

''Hi,

I just wanted to show that I am still working on this. Only slow progress as 3d modelling takes a lot more time than using model converterX for recompiling to fs9.

I added a picture of my rebuilded Jetway parts. I will make them a library and place them in the sim fitting to the aircraft. If build to a complete Jetway they have only by half the polygons than before. Ok I removed some poly intensive parts like the stair.

regards

Dominik''

I'm hoping the new version of Fs2004 will be available soon with all corrections made.

Thank you.

Thanks for all the info and the fine, but hard work!

Perhaps it is possible to place the DMEs on the correct place: together with the glide path sender and not at the LLZ?

Yo folks how is it going?
I just departed from LTFM on my maiden voyage to Madrid

I was able to solve the disappearing runway and taxiway by adjusting the airport elevation with afcad editor. :so_happy:

I shall say that the scenery, despite lacking eye candy, is pretty much satisfying for my needs. Thanks to the team for your work i appreciate it very much :*
